All examples have been written to reflect the current behaviours and skills required to pass the 2014 police officer application form currently used by forces in England and Wales including the MOD and Civil Nuclear Constabulary. There are 5 excellent examples for each competency question, using examples taken from real life and everyday situations. Each section also contains an important checklist, so you can check your answers against the required skills.
The download area also includes 28 great police officer application answers for the 2010 - 2013 application form. Although this is no longer used, it will be a useful document to assist you preparing interview answers, especially for those forces who have an additional board interview.

This is very useful to give ideas for what type of answers the police are looking for on their application forms. With so much competition to get into the force, it is good to know that you have given yourself as good a chance as possible.

I found this to be really useful and helped polish my answers. The key is the strength of the example you use initially, but the examples in the book helped to ensure all the points were covered and important keywords were used.

The examples provided really did help me find my own suitable answers. It made answering the questions so simple, and recommended keywords that I should use in my own answers to ensure success.
