The examples include:
All examples have been written to reflect the current behaviours and skills required to pass the current police officer application form currently used by forces in England and Wales including the MOD and Civil Nuclear Constabulary. There are 5 excellent examples for each competency question, using examples taken from real life and everyday situations. Each section also contains an important checklist, so you can check your answers against the required skills.
The download area also includes 28 great police officer application answers for the 2010 - 2013 application form. Although this is no longer used, it will be a useful document to assist you preparing interview answers, especially for those forces who have an additional board interview.
The document explains how to answer application form questions using the 'reflection' technique and explains important keywords / key phrases that you should feature in your own written answers - this makes the assessors role easy because there is no need to interpret your answers, it's talking in their language...
We use examples drawn from everyday life to demonstrate to you how they meet the required competency standard. This will help inspire you and make it easy for you to identify your own suitable answers.

The product was good and helped me develop what I believe to be some decent answers. I used the product as more of a way of structuring my answers and ensured I used the keywords included.

This was the best £10 I have ever spent. It was definitely worth the money and was a great help to my son, who passed the application stage and has been invited to the police search assessment centre.

I purchased this after being out of the loop of answering these questioning styles. I'm so glad I purchased this manual I would recommend it to anybody who is completing the form. The answers contained in this document hit every possible area that you score from. An outstanding and invaluable manual.

This is very useful to give ideas for what type of answers the police are looking for on their application forms. With so much competition to get into the force, it is good to know that you have given yourself as good a chance as possible.

I found this to be really useful and helped polish my answers. The key is the strength of the example you use initially, but the examples in the book helped to ensure all the points were covered and important keywords were used.
